Trends in Annual Giving

Brian Kish of the UA Foundation will take us on a fast-paced tour of the
latest  trends impacting mass giving programs. Social media, cellphones
and email are only three of of the many new tools and technologies
available to development pros. Brian also will examine the changing
demographics of our donors.

Brian Kish serves as the Senior Vice President for Central Development at the University of Arizona Foundation.  He is a member of the executive management team of UAF and oversees the offices of annual giving, communications, corporate & foundation relations, strategic prospect development and analytics, gift planning, special events, and stewardship.  He also is a part-time consultant for Campbell & Company based in Chicago, IL serving both national and international clients in elevating their development, and more specifically annual giving, operations.

Previously, Brian served as Director of Annual Giving at Iowa State University; Senior Director of Development/Assistant Campaign Manager for the University of California Irvine Medical Center; and Assistant Vice President for Advancement at Salve Regina University.

Brian is a frequent speaker for CASE and AFP conferences having served as chair or faculty on 28 national development conferences and making over 100 professional presentations.  He has been awarded the CASE Crystal Apple for teaching excellence; the youngest person to ever receive this honor.  Additionally, Brian hosts collaborative benchmarking meetings for Target Analytics throughout North America and is a member of the Campaign Committee for the United Way of Southern Arizona.
