Presented by Pauline Hechler, CFRE

Pauline is the Interim Director of the Center for Planned Giving at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona.  She is a consultant with 24 years’ experience as a professional fund raiser, specializing in major and planned gifts.

From 2006 – 2012, Pauline was Chief Development Officer at the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, where she led a team of 10. During that time, the team raised over $30 million, including an average each year of $400,000 in bequests.

Pauline began her career in Phoenix at the Arizona Community Foundation, followed by Ballet Arizona, Scottsdale Healthcare Foundation and St. Gregory College Preparatory School.

Pauline has a degree in English Literature from the University of Washington, attended graduate school in Public Administration at Arizona State University, and received a Certificate in Management and Organizations from the Southwest Leadership Program at the Eller College of Management, University of Arizona.

In 2010, Pauline was named the Outstanding Fundraising Professional by the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Southern Arizona Chapter. She serves on several professional and community boards and enjoys speaking to community groups about planned giving.

Pauline is married to Gene and between them, they have five grown children.
Pauline has been a Certified Fund Raising Executive since 2006.
