The Nonprofit Loan Fund of Tucson and Southern Arizona (NPLF) is designed to strengthen the financial capacity of nonprofits by providing loan financing and financial education for nonprofits operating within the Southern Arizona community.  Currently, the Nonprofit Loan Fund of Tucson and Southern Arizona (NPLF) provides affordable, operating loans to nonprofits in Pima County. NPLF is designed to bridge cash flow gaps and support program expansion.

Currently serving as the CEO of the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, native Arizonan Michael McDonald has served in leadership positions with Habitat for Humanity Tucson, the University of Arizona, Native SEEDS, The Nature Conservancy, and the electronics manufacturing start-up Power Convertibles.  Michael is an active community volunteer, and also teaches at the University of Arizona.  When he’s not serving the community, he’s either spending time with his granddaughters, enjoying local micro-brews, or attempting to sleep.
