NPD.Sig.Hor.Color

Thank you for being a part of National Philanthropy Day 2017!

The Association of Fundraising Professionals Southern Arizona Chapter will host its 29th annual National Philanthropy Day Awards luncheon on Friday, November 17, 2017 at The Westin La Paloma. Registration is at 11:00 AM. The luncheon is 11:30 AM until 1:15 PM.

National Philanthropy Day (NPD) is a special day set aside to recognize the great contributions of philanthropy – and those people active in the philanthropic community – to the enrichment of our lives, our community and our world. Though the primary goal of the event is to celebrate Tucson’s generous spirit, the National Philanthropy Day luncheon is the primary fundraiser for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Southern Arizona Chapter.

There are several ways that you can be a part of this special day. Click to learn more and submit your form/payment online:

Nominate an individual or organization for a National Philanthropy Day Award: CLOSED
Five major awards will be presented to individuals and organizations whose philanthropic contributions and dedicated volunteerism improve the quality of life in our community. You can nominate for Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year, Outstanding Corporate or Foundation Philanthropist, Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser, Outstanding Fundraising Professional and Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy. All nominations should be submitted online. The deadline to apply is May 17th. Questions, contact the Big Five Chair, Travis Craddock at craddockt@sanmiguelhigh.org.

Recognize an individual or organization with a Spirit of Philanthropy Award:
The intent of the Spirit of Philanthropy Award is to recognize publicly those who exemplify philanthropy through their contributions of time, effort, and/or resources. Formal praise of those who demonstrate extraordinary leadership and vision in support of your organization’s goals not only confirms their efforts but also inspires others in Southern Arizona to become more involved in our community. The Spirit of Philanthropy Award is an amazing opportunity to recognize individuals who give back to Southern Arizona. Nominations are due by July 31st.
