Association of Fundraising Professionals: Southern Arizona Chapter

Essentials of Fundraising

ESSENTIALS OF FUNDRAISING OVERVIEW

The Southern Arizona Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is offering a series of three-hour workshops called the Essentials of Fundraising. These workshops are designed to provide comprehensive introductory-level training on fundraising theory and practice.

The Essentials curriculum was developed by experienced fundraising professionals and is presented across the country to meet the real-world needs and challenges that non-profit organizations and fundraisers face every day.  The series will be offered as part of AFP’s mission to provide quality training that is rooted in best practices and ethical standards to fundraising professionals.

These workshops will help develop skills that can be tailored to any organization.  Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to network and develop relationships with some of the finest and most successful fundraisers in our community.

Each participant will receive useful tools and materials, including sample fundraising plans, solicitation letters, policies and guidelines and other relevant fundraising resources.  View the curriculum.
