Spirit of Philanthropy Awards
The Association of Fundraising Professionals Southern Arizona Chapter is presenting the Spirit of Philanthropy Awards at National Philanthropy Day on November 9, 2011 to recognize special people and organizations within Southern Arizona that have made significant philanthropic contributions. Please consider this great opportunity as a way to honor someone you feel is deserving of this special acknowledgement.
The intent of the Spirit of Philanthropy Award is to recognize publicly those who demonstrate the SPIRIT of philanthropy through their contributions of time, efforts and/or resources. If you know someone who demonstrates extraordinary leadership and vision in support of your organization’s goals, and a true spirit of generosity, please honor this person so that their efforts can be recognized.
All recipients will be featured in the media presentation at the event and receive their award on-stage. If you respond by July 31, 2011, your honoree will be listed in Tucson Lifestyle magazine. To receive the other recognition benefits, please respond by October 1. If you would like your awardee and other supporters to receive event mailings such as the invitation, please send those mailing addresses to tjones@tucsonjcc.org.
There is a $75.00 charge for submitting each honoree to cover the cost of the recognition award and production of the media presentation. Please note: you must purchase seats at the event since they are not included with this award. New this year is the SOP Table Sponsorship package. For $800, you can honor someone with a SOP award, receive a table for 10 seats and recognize your honoree with a ¼ page ad in the event program.
